- Why do you say you’re descended from indigenous people but not indigenous yourself? Having distant ancestors who may have been indigenous does not make you indigenous or give you a right to speak for us.
- If you are indigenous, which group(s) do you belong to? Does that give you a right to speak for the Massachusett people, who it looks like were largely wiped out by genocide, disease, and forced conversion by the ancestors of those who now mock them?
- Who elected you to speak for all of us and decide what is and isn’t okay for white people to continuously shit on as we still suffer beneath colonization?
